Are you, like the loonies on the right, so convinced of your own righteousness that you believe that it's your way or utter collapse and so brook nary a hint of compromise?
Or do the rumors about you being part of that "vast, right-wing conspiracy" perhaps carry a little more weight than they're commonly given? Or maybe you've simply lost the distinction between "good attention" and "bad attention".
While I certainly believe that a number of your pet issues deserve airing as part of our ongoing national debate, choosing to run for President again is probably no longer the best way to get them included. Considering how much your support base collapsed between 2000 and 2004, I think you'll find that, at this point, people are just tired of your shit. So give it a rest, and find another Corvair.
