Interesting Loscon
Nov. 30th, 2008 09:12 pmSpend more time chatting with folks than anything else. Every time there was a panel I was interested in, it seemed I would get involved in a very interesting conversation with someone that would last from 20 minutes before the panel started until about half an hour after. Ah well.

johnnyeponymous and trinsf in the fanzine lounge and fanzine lounge party room. _darkvictory and I had a great sushi dinner with zellandyne and simransmiles Friday night, then had dinner again with zellandyne, her friend Jeff, and fellow Fictionado Brett at a great Indian place in Playa Del Rey (or someplace so close to there as to be indistinguishable from it). Also got to spend some time chatting with zyxwvut and picked up a really cool little Robbie the Robot pin from dinogrl in the dealer's room. Got a good suggestion for a particular market for a specific story from saycestsay, and walked close to 7 miles over the two days at the con (at least according to my pedometer). As always, had a really good book conversation with constant_reader. Saw many other LJ habitues there as well for brief conversations or just knowing nods across a room, like asimovberlioz, adamjwills, and ala_mokita, just to mention the 'a's.
Tired now. Will sleep and wake tomorrow to write compelling copy for day job.
