The Mind Croggles...

First there were the stage musical versions of Plan 9 from Outer Space and Evil Dead, and I'm okay with that. It's campy fun, right? I'm not quite sure what to make of The Fly: The Opera, music by Howard Shore, conducted by Placido Domingo, directed by David Cronenberg, and with a libretto by David Henry Hwang. With those folks, I doubt that they're going for campy fun, so they must be deadly serious – about The Fly. mmmmm'kay. Maybe next year we'll get the kabuki version of Lost in Space.
