Even though it's just me and [livejournal.com profile] _darkvictory, we wanted to do something close to traditional football game day type snacks, but wanted to make things a little closer to healthy than is normal. So:

GVDub's Wing sauce

1 stick butter (note: I said "closer to healthy", not AHA approved)
1/2 cup Crystal Hot Sauce
1/4 cup Cajun Power Spicy Garlic Sauce (if you've never tried the Cajun Power sauces, go to their website and order some now. You won't be sorry.)
5 or 6 drops El Yucateca Habañero Sauce

Combine ingredients in top half of double boiler and let sit over simmering water until butter is melted. Whisk it all together and keep it over a simmer for at least half an hour.

The supermarket didn't have wings, so we got a big tray of legs. Preheat the oven to 350°. Lay out the legs in a single layer in a roasting pan. Stick it in the oven and after 20 minutes, baste the legs with the sauce. 10 minutes later, baste 'em again. 10 minutes, turn 'em over, and baste at 10 minute intervals until done (or 10 minutes after you run out of sauce. Serve with celery, carrot sticks, and blue cheese dressing for dipping.

Baked this way, it's a fair amount less greasy than fried wings, and pretty dang tasty.

[livejournal.com profile] _darkvictory also made some Texas caviar and we had tortilla chips for dipping.

Game? You mean there's a game? I'm too busy licking my fingers.
