Darn, no aliens here

So, according to National Geographic, the illnesses surrounding the metor crater in Peru were because the underground pool it fell into was full of arsenic-tainted water and the steam and gases released were simply carrying arsenic compounds.

So, I guess we won't be seeing a valley full of possessed people and creepy, alien vegetation after all. I guess I'm a little disappointed.
